According to this report, most men find funny women a turn-off. Apparently, it’s not so much an issue of a woman having a sense of humor or not having one, but rather a preference for women who laugh at jokes…

I hate studies like this. They never say ‘some men’, or even ‘most men’; it’s always ‘men were…’, as if to say, “if you don’t conform to the data, then you’re not a real man!” Not that I really have a problem with this, but it does leave me wondering, “what exactly am I, then?”

……my take. Martin is just sour cause he can’t get a date. And he try to rationalize it. haaa haaa…..

but on serious note, I think humor is like a symbolic signals. (in “I like how you think, sort of ways”) I dated a quiet girl once with seriously wacky sense of humor once. She makes me laugh in the middle of ‘Crash’ movie. (’96. the one by cronenberg) Right on target too, the symbolic difference of car logo and sensuous expression.

I think, there is nothing more dubious than a person telling half funny joke and thinking he/she has the good. It reveals the thought construction and personality all at once.

note: I don’t even play analytical psychologist on TV.
